Perth Trip

I can't wait for trip to Perth... I've been rambling about this trip non stop for the past few month to anyone that would listen...

I just never been to Australia before...Kang (my brother) studied there....I thought that i would be next.. but nobody can predict the economy would crash so bad that i've missed out on the chance to study there....

Another 10 days to go... i don't think i would have the time to do the countdown evryday... so LP & I will be flying over to Singapore on the 6th August on the 10am flight...


We'll be meeting with Gale, LaoTung, Hooi Ni & Ah Ho at Changi Airport... Not really sure what time is our flight to Perth... I'll update on that soon...

With the A(H1N1) virus spreading rapidly all over the world... might as well catch it in Australia rather than domestically... choi...choi....choi... :)

I am having a bit of a flu & sore throat right now... I hope that i'll get better by this week.... or if i can find the time.. i will go and have me treated..haha... won't let the Australian government kick me back to Singapore before i even had the chance to enjoy Perth/ Albany...

I have also applied for a CIMB credit card...i am also hoping that i will have it all sorted out by next week..

Too Dark...

Last week... i was the last person out of the office... and it's already dark outside..


So i went to my car and pressed the button to open my car door.. i can see lights flashing.. but it was not coming from my car and i can't seem to pinpoint the source... i kept pressing the button and even tried to open the car door.. but it was still locked...

Then i turned my head around and found out that my car was parked right behind from where i was standing...

Luckily it was so dark and nobody was around.... the owner of the car that i have manhandled must be thinking that i was trying to steal the car if they saw me trying to open the car door...

Even so, i was so embarassed and quickly rushed to my waiting car.. while uttering 'pai sehh..2'... along the way.. hehe..

My view on American Idol

Before they announced the two finalists for the final showdown. I was already weighing on the possibilities:
1) Danny Goakey & Adam Lambert
2) Kris Allen & Adam Lambert

The judges were worried that Adam Lambert might not get into the final since he has been in the bottom 3 much too often... And i'm sure they have already written out Kris Allen despite what Simon said.

I'm always anticipating what Adam & Kris might be singing every week..

I never thought that i'd be sad seeing Danny go... but i was...He's a nice guy and all but... he lack what Kris & Adam can bring to the stage... Danny was too predictable...

Sure Kris is no match for Adam and his insane vocal.. but Kris is very aristic & original (apart from the 'Apologise' song last week)...

I'll be happy with the results no matter who wins... but may be a little dissapointed if Adam Lambert got 2nd place...

One last thing..

Work...lame i know....

For the 2nd time.... there was no Fire Demo by Safety Officer today...according to my Main Con...

But i have the weekly meeting tomorrow...

And Khiong, Induk & 10 friends are coming to KL tomorrow...separately though...


Khiong told me not to call him unless he calls me first...' Yes Bos'...

My First Site Walk..

As it turns out...

I did ok in the meeting...was able to delayed the floor trap sample submission for another week... Lim was there to cover for me...while i bussied myself doing duno what...ehe...

But i have lots of drawings to submit by next week.. as well as Grilles submission..

i know that most people have no idea what i'm writing about.. but i just have to get it all off of my head...

I was almost late though.. but i'm not..hehe... i set my alarm at 7.15pm instead of 7.15am..luckily i woke up at 7.43am.. and still managed to attend the site walk prior to the meeting... the safety officer even treated us 100PLUS after our walk... my first site walk... a little bit daunting.. not knowing where to step... and they did asked if i can manage to walk up the unfinished stairs.. with just the rebar as friction...

I now know what they meant when they say.. our condensate pipe might burst coz the workers doesn't care what they stepped on while working...

Gonna have to attend the Fire Demo next Thursday.. i think.. hm... i wonder how that's going to be...

Trip
Seems like i've never done much exercise these past couple of years...

All the walking, the surfing lesson & the parasailing has taken a toll out of me... I am mentally & physically tired...

I did get the tan that i've wanted...And we did get the pedicure (Gale & LP) and me the ManiPedi..

Family
hm...dad kept being short on cash... which subsequently left me being short on cash...

Work
And tommorow... i think i am going to get slayed for the weekly meeting & i hope i am not late for the safety meeting...

Now
I am going to go back & sleep it all off....~~

P/S: I miss baby so much...~~it's weird....

Damn..(where is my digicam?)

I remember that i still had it when we were having our dinner at Jimbaran bay...

There are a few possibilities of where it could have been:-
1) I dropped it in the Jimbaran Bay sand (highly possible)
2) I dropped it in the rented car (a little doubtfull cuz i didn't took it out while i was in the car)
3) I left it at the hotel in the mounds of blankets (it could be but a little doubtfull)
4) I left it at the Rip Curl Surf School locker/ changing room ( a little doubtfull)
5) I trust the hotel staff are honest people...(but i couldn't rule out the possibility)

Hm...lots of the pictures & video in the digicam were at Tanah Lot, Uluwatu, Jimbaran Bay, Gunung Kawi & Gao Gajah...tsk....tsk... :(

I only have those pictures in my handphone left...
