December 2014

Hooray... My favourite month of the year is finally here. Well as i am typing this, there's 8minutes left to midnight.

Anyway... Yay... I love it, one thing is because it's my birthday month!
And Christmas is just around the corner.
I get to spend and pamper myself without guilt.

Breast pain

I have been experiencing severe burning pain on my right breast for close to 1 month. I did some reading and found out little about what caused it.

My reading did suggest that it might be the side effect of too much caffeine in my diet.
I have been chugging 2-3 cups of coffee a day. Now that we have ran out of the 3 in 1 cofee in my office pantry. I am now free of caffeine. Well, i am drinking tea now.

And another cause one is probably because of a pinched nerve somewhere. What i do know is that breast pain is not a usual cause of cancer.

I am thankful that i am pain free for 2 days now. Still stings a little though.

Let me break it down for you.

The pain is like, it didn't hurt if i didn't touch it. But once I did, it started with a pinch and spread to la hot fiery/ burning sensation. I mean it hurts like a mother. It takes my breath away. I would grunt and doubled over.

I had so many theories in my head, including bug bites, stung by an insect, some creepy crawlies like on the TV shows about monsters inside you, some spell, ghostly encounters, effect of taking too many supplement at once (lecithin-e, tumeric capsule, pine bark tree tablets), or the effect of propping on my elbows watching the computer screens which in turns choked up my blood flow to the arm and breast. I mean all the weird things. I did not go to the doctor. Why? Coz i think it will go away. And i hope it will. I have been taking EPO which I've heard can reduce the pain.

Am i hormonal? This does not feel like PMS.

I told my coworker about it, and she doesn't seem to get it and straight away told me she had breastpain too. Not a really good listener. Anyway, I'm dealing with it and again thankful for the pain lessening.

Impromptu hair cut

After a spontaneous lunch of Sup Pedas Kajang yesterday, my colleagues and i went for a hair cut. The hair dresser is an old man with years of experience and acolades from overseas and even invented a technique of cutting hair. After i misheard the receptionist who is also an old lady said rm15. I said ok for a hair cut too. So i went for mine after Jack's turn.

Here is me being so vain, i love my long hair. I had it coloured just this month and even had to pay an extra rm20 for them being too long.
Then i told the guy i want a trim, but not too short.
Or maybe i said i want to cut it short but not too short.
He asked do i need some layers? I said yes.
He wants to lightened the front with some bangs or layers. I said ok.

So i took off my glasses, and i felt the guy chopping away at the back and my face turned hot.
Silently hoping he did not chop off a lot.
And reassuring myself that my hair will grow back even if he did.
I always had  this notion that people do look thinner with longer hair.

Then he started at the front. I had deja vu many years back when i first got my hair straightened and the hairdresser chopped off my hair to give me bangs. I can feel my face turned hot.

I am ashamed to say i almost cried.

I was charged for rm25 for a haircut that i didn't want.

He gave me a slightly longer version of the Julianne Hough's hair cut.
As i stand in front of the mirror, i can see that i look more mature. I guess that is not a bad thing.:)

I had a bad dream

A rare one. In my dream, there were a lot of black scorpions in a  box and one of it stung me on my fingers. I was so scared and then i realized it was just a dream.

According to the net, it is a sign that a false friend is going to back stab me and hurt me.
I really hope that is not true. Because whatever friends that i have now, i choose them myself and i don't surround myself with people that i don't like.

Howvever, i do have a few people that i think does not like me very much:-
1) SP saw (my ex-colleague)- i think he think of me as pretending to be naive and he is not blind to it.
2) Ah wong (my subcond)- he just doesn't like me 'coz he knows i am not worth the effort. Coz my boss likes ms ho and ms yeap better. Well he's right.
3) Ah hee (my subcond)- coz all my job is small money to him. Compared to ms ho's that is worth a lot of money.

Ah well.. You can't please everybody.

Also, people who likes to slap/ grab my ass:-
1) Gale
2) Ms Ho
3) Ms Yeap

Ms yeap also complained about how boss isn't treating her fairly. Saying he always compared her with ms ho. Well i heard what she had to say. But i also think that she still got the longer straw while i'm the one who has the shorter straw. She got the manager title, she got the free smartphone, she got the extra 5 days leave to 21 days. Together with ms ho. So i really don't think she should complained as much either. Boss actually told her that to her face. Which at the time, i really think my boss is out of line.

The people that i've worked with from other company introduced me to others as a Sr. and they thought that it meant something good. That it is something to be proud of. I got the Sr. title just because i have work longer. I didn't get the manager title like my 2 juniors. That is a slap in the face if i ever saw one.

I knew i screwed up for not being able to control my emotions. And i think that will stick to my boss like a chewing gum. He doesn't reply my messeges, so i did whatever i think is right for his company.

He is planning on selling the company. I wonder what it will mean to me when that happens.

Well, here's a picture of a very delicious loh shu fun that we ( CY, Jack, Ho, Yeap, Ho's brother , Wee, Yap and i) at Somewhere near seri kembangan. I'll come here again for the food. :)

A touch of the Divine

I was at Singapore last weekend. I agreed to go to church and i thought it was going to be like a Church church. With the old building, no ac, people fanning themselves, stuffy, you know ... traditional church. I was waaay off. It was like a grand tv production. We were late by half an hour and when we reached, they gave us the top row stage left. The songs sung hit close to the heart. I was one of the most emotional one among the 3 of us (gale, LP and i.. LP didn't come along). I cried like a baby in all sappy tear jerker movies. And the situation was reversed that day. I have to admit that i fought hard at holding back tears. I couldn't even look at my companion in the eyes.
We had Marilyn Hickey an 80+ year old pastor's wife who is still actively travelling all over the world to spread stories of miraculous events.

I want all that is said to be true for my friend. All the miracles and power of believing. The power of having a positive mindset. That eventually, we will all prevail.

And now for some singapore food.

Breakfast at ONE MAN COFFEE- CUTe Barrista :)

Latte heart shape

This is really good. A tad dry, but really good. A long name for a bread with a hole in the middle filled with eggs and cheese. Also some sweet mince meat to top it off. Gasshouse ...*something2.. I really wanted to try their grilled cheese. Oh well... some other breakfast then.

Holiday Inn Express Orchard.

Wild Honey for some catching up with old friends and new friends.- with Gale, LP, Shwu yuan, Tony, David and Ryan.

We were treated by Tony and Ryan on different occasions. Thanks. Please know that we do not take that for granted.:)

Love is in the air

I think i'm in love again. In love with Charlie Hunnam. 😍😘.

I just started season 2 of Sons of Anarchy and i think the writters for the series deserve a freaking medal. Man give them one of them awards.

I never thought of Charlie Hunnam as the hunky guy while watching Queer As Folks UK.
And boy was I wrong. Again, i just wanted to announce my obsession here so people will think of me as less creepy.

My friend Grateful

I realised that i don't have many friends here. The ones that i have, they are all good friends but they are not around. And i do have one ..but problem is, I don't like to be the ear to all her drama that happened in her office. I can tolerate a little drama. But not everytime. It is so not good for my morale.

I complained too but not THAT much. I am not a good at giving advice mainly because I think I have yet to experience all that life has to offer.

I am grateful that i have her in my life right now but not so much to the point of going to Osaka with her and the 2 dramas that are going along.

I kind of like my peace and quiet. I like the unpredictable sky nowadays. But i do not like the stomach ache i've been having that spoils my perfectly planned Sunday.
