We're still here in Rockingham...Hooi Ni and Ah Ho's going back to Singapore tonite..Laotung went home 3 days earlier...



We're going to see the Dog Race tonite..



Just came back from the WA Royal Aviation Club...

The 5th day...

OK people... the pics are here.... some of thousands collected in 5 days time.....hehe...

K to continue...We went to Bunburry like i said... on the way, we stopped by Yalingup..there's a cave there.. Ngilgi Cave...it's a crystal cave... met our college mate there (just a familiar face around the campus)... small world... that she's at the same place at the same time as we were...

The cave exploration took exactly an hour...on the olden days.. newlyweds went here for their honeymoon...don't know how romantic is it going down in a cave...:)

On the way to Happs winery..on the 3rd day... we finally saw kangaroos....:)

These kangaroos were bred for their meat.. At Happs Winery, Laotung bought a Fortis 2004 which we brought over to The Goose (a restaurant by the Busselton Jetty)...

Before that... Laotung wanna see the lighthouse..Neautralist Lighthouse... it was closed by then...

But we still managed to take a few nice photos...We actually saw Dolphines on the 4th day... before going back to Rockingham...

And tasted my first Fish And Chips in Mandurah....Cicerello reputedly to be Western Australia's No. 1 Fish & Chips..

Perth..Day 2...7th August '09

So, it's day 2 that i'm here in perth... we're staying in RockingHam.. or Swinging Pig hehe...

We started or exploring today since we arrived around 9pm last nite...it was cold...but still bearable.. gale is having a hay fever though....is it how it's spelled..? heck la....she's having runny nose and watery eyes... not the swine flu..it's not contagious...

Parked our car at Warnbro Station and got AUS2 coins from this lady for free... all of us don't have any small change for parking,...

Bought an all day ride pass.. which is free for all transperth public transport including the ferry ride...

So we stopped by Esplanade.. took the ferry ride to and from Perth Zoo.. we skipped the animal/ zoo part and went to James St to look for one of the oldest Seafood restaurant.. but they were closed... we got most of our souveniers here.... I still need a few.... :)...

Today's Friday.. so the Swinging Pig is on the loose.... people started to get drunk, get into fights and sleeping by the sidewalk... haven't seen any of those yet though...

Ate lots of meat here And bread....we went around Rockingham.. the beach wile enjoying a Chocolate Lava Cake and Caramel Pudding (takeaway from Dominos Pizza)..

For tomorrow... we are going to pack a 1 day trip clothing and going south... which will be colder...

I see a lot of girls wearing tights as pants...which bothers me a little..

TWo days till lift off....

dang...until tody, i haven't heard anything from CIMB bout my credit card...might as well throw that hopw to the wind since i only have tomorrow to settle everything.....

Things i haven't done:-
1) Pack
2) Convert Rm to AUS$
3) Settle work stuff....(never ending problem)...
4) Get better (now i have allergies that i think due to something i ate to add up to my coughing, gastric, headache.. hehe... C wai cakap.."Wuah..Banyak juga penyakit ko...")

Mamaroach/ Kang thought i might have Denggue... but impossible.. since i don't think i might be able to walk if i have denggue...


Doc said.. it's just allergy and not due to my med coz i've ever taken the meds that he gave me...gave me some cough mixture to take at higher dose and Allergy Med & Itchy Med..

I'm sure i don't have a fever now...


Ck said no need to go perth...hehe... since so many things to do... & advised me to watch "OVERHEARD".. he said nicee....~~~

Countdown continues (5 days to go)...

It's already friday... and i'm getting anxious on my credit card approval....

Still haven't heard anything from them yet...aren't they suppose to be fast/ efficient..? hm...

Lots of drawings to be submitted.. lots of VO to be submitted & discussed..

How can i have fun with all these things that haven't been settled out...

I'm already loosing sleep over these...

I skipped lunch the other day... coz, ck was busy with inspection & me with other things to do...

Then, i ate KFC at nite... wow... i had a major case of diarrhea... i guess it's gastric too... kept me up till over 3 am.... then the next day... my stomach ache like hell.. i felt like vomitting too... i did managed to stuff in a few mouthfull of ' wan tan mien' while lunching with ck...

I was thinking of taking MC, but i'm even scared of driving back... so i just stayed in site office & draw up some sectional view for thermostat position, grooveline position & LMR elevation view... felt ok after going to the loo....

Tired though...ck was a little frustrated by me.. coz i didn't tell him that the groove line was supposed to be position/ measured from the ceiling to below...

I saw that he had drawn the dimension from the Floor up... i never thought that it's not the same... tecnically, it's should be the same.. but the site condition is different from what we draw up i.e: slab thickness.. so there's an offset of 80mm.... argh...~~

So, my trip update...My flight from Singapore to Australia will be at 3.15pm and arriving at 9.05pm...& back to Singapore on the 15th August '09 at 9.35pm & arriving at 2.50am (next day-16th August '09).. Flight from Singapore to KL...ermm... i have to update on that again...~~i trust lai peng to have all the info... so i didn't bother to print out the electronic ticket...~

I have my ETA (electronic travel authority) for AUS$20.00...valid for 3months...expiring on 21st Jan '10....

I don't have enough sweat pants & long sleeves shirts for the perth weather...:)... i just thought of bringing my MNG sweater and that's it... is it too cold for shorts..? the luggage limit is 15kg... i'm not gonna bring the extra weight (like long pants)... Sunblock lotion is also mandatory... so i've been told...

Khiong called again today to reconfirm that i've gotten the $ & asked about my next trip...his exact words 'Next Trip'..~~

I'm surprised to hear that he still remembers about my Taiwan Trip this 18th - 23rd September '09 (6 Days).. to Alishan... a couple of nites in Taipei, a couple of nites in Taichung... & one in a hotspring hotel of some sorts....

The travel agents are coming to our office this saturday to get our opinion on the trip...wether we have any changes on the itinery or not...~ my bos kept telling us to do researh on that trip.. but no time to do so.. but enough time to Blog about this...~~hehe...~~i'm not worried about that trip coz it's all taken care of...

I told Khiong that he can join too.. if he can fork up that $3k.... ;)...

Lai peng is going too in this October during Deepavali with her colleague/ friends... should be cheaper than joining us...

Bos have already approved my leave saying
" My goodness Debbie, 10 days! Where are you going... going back to Sarawak ?"...

Funny that after almost 3 years working for him.. he still thinks that i'm from Sarawak....

9 Days to go..

CIMB just called today asking for some kind of verification on my application...*cross fingers*...

Khiong just banked in the $ that he promised me in return for the $ in my ASB... hmphf~~


Paparoach called today too, saying his claim was finally approved.. after living off MamaRoach & the kids for a couple of months..:)..

I will have an extra $ there too...~~ so $ is not a problem right now....

Work on the other hand is still killing me...~~just got 6 new drawings from Main Con....

Lucky i still have CK to help me on site... share some of the burden... ~~ he got his own work load too...like 3 more projects...

Twice he called office today & i didn't recognized his voice..
1st I thought was CHT of JC..
2nd I thought was Jeff of PA...he was pranking me speaking in English too..~~ :)...LOL...


Anyway, I need to sort all my work out before the trip...

Gale/ Gale's mom said no need to bring winter jacket coz it's not THAT cold.. just bring extra socks....

I like watching movie even though my colleague said it's a waste of time... what~ever~~... wonder where he took his gf out if not dinner & a movie..~~ I'm dissing him online right now..~~i know..~~
