December 2014

Hooray... My favourite month of the year is finally here. Well as i am typing this, there's 8minutes left to midnight.

Anyway... Yay... I love it, one thing is because it's my birthday month!
And Christmas is just around the corner.
I get to spend and pamper myself without guilt.

Breast pain

I have been experiencing severe burning pain on my right breast for close to 1 month. I did some reading and found out little about what caused it.

My reading did suggest that it might be the side effect of too much caffeine in my diet.
I have been chugging 2-3 cups of coffee a day. Now that we have ran out of the 3 in 1 cofee in my office pantry. I am now free of caffeine. Well, i am drinking tea now.

And another cause one is probably because of a pinched nerve somewhere. What i do know is that breast pain is not a usual cause of cancer.

I am thankful that i am pain free for 2 days now. Still stings a little though.

Let me break it down for you.

The pain is like, it didn't hurt if i didn't touch it. But once I did, it started with a pinch and spread to la hot fiery/ burning sensation. I mean it hurts like a mother. It takes my breath away. I would grunt and doubled over.

I had so many theories in my head, including bug bites, stung by an insect, some creepy crawlies like on the TV shows about monsters inside you, some spell, ghostly encounters, effect of taking too many supplement at once (lecithin-e, tumeric capsule, pine bark tree tablets), or the effect of propping on my elbows watching the computer screens which in turns choked up my blood flow to the arm and breast. I mean all the weird things. I did not go to the doctor. Why? Coz i think it will go away. And i hope it will. I have been taking EPO which I've heard can reduce the pain.

Am i hormonal? This does not feel like PMS.

I told my coworker about it, and she doesn't seem to get it and straight away told me she had breastpain too. Not a really good listener. Anyway, I'm dealing with it and again thankful for the pain lessening.

Impromptu hair cut

After a spontaneous lunch of Sup Pedas Kajang yesterday, my colleagues and i went for a hair cut. The hair dresser is an old man with years of experience and acolades from overseas and even invented a technique of cutting hair. After i misheard the receptionist who is also an old lady said rm15. I said ok for a hair cut too. So i went for mine after Jack's turn.

Here is me being so vain, i love my long hair. I had it coloured just this month and even had to pay an extra rm20 for them being too long.
Then i told the guy i want a trim, but not too short.
Or maybe i said i want to cut it short but not too short.
He asked do i need some layers? I said yes.
He wants to lightened the front with some bangs or layers. I said ok.

So i took off my glasses, and i felt the guy chopping away at the back and my face turned hot.
Silently hoping he did not chop off a lot.
And reassuring myself that my hair will grow back even if he did.
I always had  this notion that people do look thinner with longer hair.

Then he started at the front. I had deja vu many years back when i first got my hair straightened and the hairdresser chopped off my hair to give me bangs. I can feel my face turned hot.

I am ashamed to say i almost cried.

I was charged for rm25 for a haircut that i didn't want.

He gave me a slightly longer version of the Julianne Hough's hair cut.
As i stand in front of the mirror, i can see that i look more mature. I guess that is not a bad thing.:)
