Wai Ko's Wedding

Just came back from Ipoh- Butterworth trip to Wai Ko’s wedding dinner.. Shi Theng wasn’t invited.. I shouldn’t have been invited too, if it weren’t for LP… :p

Anyway, we arrived just as the wedding entourage were coming out of the junction of their house on their way over to the Bride’s residence.. talk about perfect timing… :) Ah Chai drove after 10 minutes of experiencing my mad driving skills from Ipoh to Butterworth.. blame my car steering wheel for shaking everytime I tried to slow down after accelerating at the hilly road….

While we were playing the traditional games between the Sisters & Brothers.. Wai Ko’s Sisters grabbed the Lead Sister’s hand while she had milk+something orange in both hands… causing the milk to spill on the floor… She doesn’t look happy at all.. she actually looked like she might cry.. which we later found out from Ah Piaw that she did.. :)… It’s their (the sisters) fault that they never let us pass after doing two of the nasty prank… 1) 5 brothers were to do push up 3-5 times while the groom lay/ sit on their back… 2) eating a combo of melted chocolate & stinky peas… 3) The milk & orange thingy combo….

Wai Ko said to the Sisters after they complained that we were too rough.. ‘Em wan Tak, Zhao Mou Wan La..’… translation- ‘If you can’t handled it.. then don’t play along….’

Ah Piaw offered to bring us around Butterworth/ Penang Island.. but we were too beat up to do anything than to go back to our hotel (Pearl View Hotel) and rest & watch Russel Peters make fun of almost all the races in the world… We called Shi Theng, but she was in BM (Bukit Mertajam).. we asked her to come and have a drink with us.. but in the end we never did meet up with her…

As for the dinner, It was at Ocean Restaurant.. It started quite early.. LP & I paid for Gale’s RM 50 each... I didn’t have enough cash at that time.. ehhe… *Gale.. if u don’t mind.. just let it be our Birthday present for you.. :p… I made sure Wai Ko knows that it’s from you.. He said thanks…

The next day, LP & I went for the free breakfast at the hotel.. pity Chai can’t join us since we only have 2 coupons.. But we did stopped by Ipoh to have lunch & my ‘White Coffee’.. Chai bought LP & I “Yim Kok Kai”.. Salted Chicken.. which later that nite, Una & Ah Pang said not as nice as the one in Salak South...hm...

Stopped by Chai’s house to look at his baby boy.. Then dropped LP at KJ station.. That’s just about summarized the whole trip..

Will be off to Ipoh tomorrow.. time..? depends on how fast my consultant measure/ calculate the duct seize/ lenghts.... Last saturday, it lasted till 5pm....

Then, Chai, LP & I be rushing to Butterworth on Sunday to become 'Heng Tai' for Wai Ko...:)

Actually, i don't really know what the plan is... a lot of uncertainties.. i know that we'll be staying at Chai's place in Ipoh... How to get there..? I don't know.. i'm depending on LP to ask him about the direction... shouldn't be too hard...

Hope 2morro's meeting won't take too long ...

I got a map to go to LP's house.. don't really know if i'm going to use it.. just in case though.. i'm gonna pack everything before i stepped out of the house 2morro.. i might straightaway go & fetch LP if the meeting took forever...

I guess that we'll be staying in Butterworth.. I think LP has informed Wai Ko that we're coming & that he'll provide accomodation for us... 'coz i never replied his email.. :p

I'll be coming back to KL on Monday.. The wedding dinner is going to be on Sunday...

Anyway, my Mykad is still in process.... it's been 10days ... !!

And i don't think i'm going to open an income tax account.. 'coz Una said, they (tax people) will post me an account no. when it's time to pay up...

Maid Of Honor

Today, Ah May.. my colleague asked me to be her maid of honor.. yeah..!~ My 1st time of being one.. i missed my chance during Kang's wedding.. so, i definitely am not saying no to this one.. hehe..:)..

Ever since i joined my company... My office cleaning lady always seemed to have something bad to say about my appearance... 1st, she told me that i dropped a lot of hair (asked me to try an indian hair oil sold at Brickfields)... 2nd, commented about my bad skin (asked me to try to mix lime juice & egg white as a mask)... then today, she mentioned the fact that i have a long upper body & shorter legs..!~ while i was talking with Ah May about her upcoming wedding on 29th May 2010.. (I'm booked for that day, i hope Hooi Ni's wedding doesn't fall on the same day... ) What is she trying to say..?!! I mean what's the point..? I can't elongate my legs.. i can wear heels but.. i am half office based & site based.. plus i need to run down the stairs before the 'tukang saman' can issue me parking summon...

I've never even met his Tina....:).. Someday i hope... or better yet.. on their wedding day...:) No update on that yet..

Passport Renewal... 1st Attempt Failed....

I went to Subang USJ to renew my passport on 8th march (Monday)... i took leave on this day...

I went there with printed pages from Mr. & Mrs. Loh's Blog http://www.mrandmrsloh.com/?p=710 detailed map & information on how to renew/ apply for a passport.. got my passport, passport pics, passport application form (printed from the internet)...a pen, glue & RM300 bucks..

I stepped out of the crib at a couple of minutes before 8am.. BIG MISTAKE... all my fault for kept pressing the snooze button on my hp starting from 6am... couldn't bring myself to wake up.. It jammed at Sunway toll.... wasted more than half an hour there...

What Mr. & Mrs. Loh's Blog didn't tell me was:-
1) Printed passport application form from the internet is not acceptable
2) Please check to ensure that IC cip is in good condition- use ur Astro decoder to confirm this
3) KIOSK/ KIPPAS to renew passport is at the right side of the main entrance... no application form is required for this... just prepare a copy of passport pic, ur old passport & RM300... again make sure IC cip is readable... mine wasn't i was told to go to JPN branch to renew my IC... they gave me a slip of paper which have a list of JPN offices.. It didn't show any Puchong branch.. so i went to Maju Junction L6 instead..
(There is a JPN office in Puchong.. near my house..!!!.. - my cousin told me so after i came home from Maju Junction...)

I have to wait another 10days for them to process my new IC...!! WTH....!! Service charge is RM10...

KIOSK- is only for those 18 years and above applicant ...

After coming back from Maju Junction, i went to service my car at the Perodua Service Center at Puchong... Reminders: Make a reservation....!! I was done with everything at exactlly 5pm.. even more tiring than working... i had a headache when i reached home... !!

Bad Day for me..
1) I forgot to take my pen with me which i stupidly left in the car... I had to get a new one from the shop at the airport..RM2..
2) The printed form that i got from the internet is rejected... they gave me an original form.. but they never ask me for any money...
3) My IC cip is kaput....
4) JPN office is just around the corner from my house... i went to KL instead... argh... stupid old slip....!!
5) Had to get another day or 2 days leave to get my IC & renew my passport...!!

Hope my second attempt in renewing my passport will be successful...*fingers crossed*....

My Blunder..

We were having fun while gambling away our AngPao money.. when i accidentally said You know Who's name and his card tricks...

It was already too late to cover it up with something else other than nervous laughters..  I felt so bad about it 'coz You Know Who was there playing too... I think everyone noticed the slip up too but they were all so kind enough to let it slip...

But I really am sorry...
